Philippians 1:7 “Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.“
Paul makes the statement “I have you in my heart” as such would you please note four reasons why that is better:
1. Better than on my mind where I can absent mindly forget you.
2. Better than on my lips where gossip might serve as the filter.
3. Better than on my nerves where the trying of patience will wear thin quickly.
4. On the heart allows room for their weaknesses and shortcomings. There their needs and concerns are taken care of.
