Use the Right One

Revelation 22: 18,19 “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
2 Timothy 3:16,17 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; That the man of God may be perfect, through my furnished unto all good works.”
I only carry the King James Version of the Holy Bible. The 70 men who diligently worked to translate the Bible into English from the original Greek and Hebrew text used a word for word translation process. Words found in italics are not in the original and have been added to allow us to understand what is being said in English. All of these other translations use what is xalled Dynamic Equivalent or a thought for word translation. Basically it means that they are telling God just what it was that He meant to say.
Recently some one decided to make a comment on one of my posts attacking some of the things I stand on. I believe this person had two points and they tried to back up what they had to say this some verses. Problem was that at the end of each verse was NKJV and as soon as I saw it I deleted the comment instead of approving it. These false translations freely eliminate words and change meanings of whole sections to fit what they want the passage to say. If someone wants to have a discussion with me about my beliefs we must be on the same field. I stand with the King James Version bring your opinions along with the KJV and we will talk. Also you must know the meaning of thw words in the passages you are attempting to use. The English language is always evolving and words don’t always mean the same today as they meant 400 years ago. That is why we are commanded in 2 Timothy 2:15 to study to show ourselves approved, to be able to rightly divide or understand the word of God.
This is not about my church denomination it is about right doctrine. I can not loose my salvation, nor will I throw it away by changing God’s word to make a profit like these other translations have. Don’t believe me about that making a profit part? Look at the first few pages of those modern translations, specifically the copyright page. You can’t reprint more than a couple if verses from them without express permission from the copyright owner, which means you pay them. That is why these radio stations that read verses over the air tend to not say which translation they are using much less the exact verse because they would then have to pay for it. You pay for the King James based on who has put what beside it, such as the Thompson Chain Reference. You are paying for the work he did in the reference section. If you just want only the LUV Bible you can go to the dollar store and literally pay only a dollar for a complete copy of all 66 books of the Bible. That covers production costs abd allows the store to make a few cents for selling it.
