Philippians 2:3,4 “Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.”
We are to be friendly toward each other so that we can work, serve, strive, and fight together better in concert. If we bring division in amongst ourselves, the whole does not come together properly.
– Often the problems we face internally in the group is found to be personal grievances and self-glory.
– Achan (Joshua 7:9) is a prime example of one who watched out for himself instead of the group.
