Philippians 2:6 “Who (Jesus), being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God”
– Jesus had always been and always will be God.
– Even when He stepped out of eternity and into time He brought His deity with Him. Jesus called Himself ‘Son of Man’ but never rebuked anyone for calling Him the Son of God.
– Jesus didn’t take something that did not belong to Him when He claimed to be equal with God. Nor did He have to cling to it so He wouldn’t lose it either.
– See John 5:18.
