On my way to work I got caught by a train. While parked I noticed the old laundry mat. At one time it was pretty much packed in there 24/7. The last few times I have gone past it looks to be empty and I am left to wonder if it is closed all together.
Many church’s are that way now. Once on fire for God seemingly always doing something but now Sunday morning only. People have gotten to the point that they don’t feel the need to go to church three times a week. Excuse come easy and soon no need for excuses, just simply not going.
Hebrews 10:25 “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Jesus is coming back soon. Unfortunately like that seemingly closed laundry mat He is going to find a great deal of emptiness. Everything needed to do the job is there just not the people.
