Mother’s day with the in-laws

Ruth 2:23 “So she kept fast by the maidens of Boaz to glean unto the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and dwelt with her mother in law.”
We do make a distinction between mother and mother in law. And it is a shame how many times the mother in law and the child in law don’t get along. Here though Ruth shows us that it is possible for the two to get along. Even to the point that although Naomi had fallen into depression and seemingly given up Ruth stayed with her and took care of her. She could have easily just decided to watch out for herself and leave Naomi behind but she didn’t. Ruth went to work and supported Naomi and herself.
