I was reading this book on windmills and came across this piece I would like to share from it about the processing of grain at the windmill. “The miller built hus reputation on his skill at adjusting the millstones to produce the highest-quality product. Since millstones were the financial centerpieces for the miller and his windmill, they were painstakingly maintained. Stones had to be dressed or regrooved peeiodically, nd each miller had his own way ofvdressing the stones in order to get the most out of the grain.”
Preachers my question to each of us is not about our egos but about our attitudes. How is our studying and preaching? Is it a fine flour greatly desired for the quality or course because we are just going through the motions? Do people come to be entertained or fed God’s word, which is the Bread of Life?
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
