Some wonders of God

Romans 1:20 “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so they are without excuse”.
One way or another everything God has made makes me wonder. The other day I heard about a plant here in Chicago called the corpse flower. It seems it was supposed to open some time last month but ultimately had to be opened manually. Those who worked with this plant were a little down about the failure but said the plant will now go dormant and create a new soot that will reach about 12 feet. After which time it will start to recharge itself and begin again in 3 years with another flower that will open in about 12 years. They said it is called the corpse flower because when it does bloom it smells like death and decay. It is still a wonder of God.
Another wonder is the kind that makes you wonder why God made it. Mankind. With all the sin man craves and does (Genesis 6:5) why make us in the first place? Yet He did.
The third kind on my mind is Salvation. Again with all the wickedness of this world, a thrice Holy God still loves us enough to give Himself to die in our place, to win Salvation for us. Why? You know what, never mind. Thank you Jesus for dying for a wretch like me, forgiving me of my sins, and saving me from the Hell I deserve so that I can be with you in Heaven some day!
